St. Louis Temple

We got to go to the temple together!!! I am so glad. We usually take turns because it is so hard to leave the kids. It takes us two hours each way, plus the time for the session. Thanks for babysitting Weezie! We had a great time. It was so nice to feel the peace that is in the house of the Lord.

Happy Birthday to Jr. & Mary

My camera was not charged on Jr. and Mary's birthdays so I didn't get good pictures. Mary turned 7 and Jr. turned 10. Happy birthday my sweethearts! Aunt Sals took Mary to the mall for a special birthday lunch. She bought her some treats and they rode the carosel. Thanks Sals! Jr. got a special trap to catch stuff in the creek for his birthday. He has already got a lot of use out of it. It seems like he brings home a fresh catch every day! I love you guys!

Fun at Cosmo Park

We have been having some great fun recently. Our most recent adventure took place today at Cosmo park at the sand pit. We ate pizza and drank soda. Then we spent a good couple of hours horsing around in the sand. It was great fun. All these kids get along famously. They are all having a great childhood.

Happy Birthday Dear Sarah!

We are enjoying having Weezie and the kids here staying with us. It's hard to believe they have already been here for 5 or 6 weeks. I love them so much. It was Sarah's birthday on Saturday. We invited Suzy and the girls over and had a big barbeque, followed by cake and ice cream. Then we played our favorite party game which is to have the kids walk across a long strip of bubblewrap without popping any bubbles. They always love this game! We all had a great time. Happy Birthday Sarah! I can't believe you are already 10 years old. We love you so very much Sweetheart!

Jr. found a BULLFROG!

He was the biggest frog I've ever seen. His name was "Ginormo" or "Gigantor". I can't remember, but he sure was big. He went back to the creek after a while, because we are always kind to our animal friends around here and we let them go back to their homes after a while.

Mary and Lilye

Mary's best friend is moving to Ohio. She will be dearly missed. We are trying to squeeze in as many playdates as possible before she moves. Here are some cute pictures of them from last Friday night. They went to the creek along with the others, then they got changed into these cute dresses and played the rest of the night away. Aren't they sweet?

The beard is gone...WHEWWWW!!!

Ding Dong the wicked Beard is GONE!!!!!!! Yay! This is the only picture I was able to get, but I wanted to dedicate a post to the fact that Jared hacked down his long flowing beard! He looks like a new man even though he did nothing to the rest of his hair. It kinda looks like Dennis Miller, dontcha think? He has lost 40 pounds this year, and I am so proud of him! Love you Sweetie!

The boys had a mud fight!

Jr., Isaac, and Tommy had a mud fight the other night while I was at school. Jared had fun hosing them off before he would let them in the house. BOYS!!!

We had a couple of sweet visitors!

My little sister Sals came to visit us with her sweet little Cherub Angel daughter Kennedy Kincaid!!! I loved our visit. We had such a lot of fun going to the park and visiting with eachother. On the way to the airport, we also got to go to Liberty Missouri and visit the Liberty Jail museum. It was awesome!
