This is Jared blogging for Julie.
She's busy changing Sam's diaper, doing the dishes and getting a load of laundry started. I think Junior just threw up as well.
Oh yeah and she's got this new baby, she's always doing something with him. Makes me sick!
I'm sitting here all alone and wondering when she's gonna get that sandwich for me. I'll bet she forgets the pickles again.
Here's a link that should remind all you ladies what you should already know.
Have a nice day and don't forget the pickles!!

Hello Friends!
I finally got pictures of the quilt that Lucille & Dad sent to me. They did the whole thing and I finished the edge with the cute triangles. It turned out so cute. Thanks for the quilt!
I had a good weekend, although it feels kind of strange not to go to church. After not going last week, then staying home again yesterday, my life is beginning to feel very wierd. I enjoy going to church so much. I can't wait to go back again.

Here is a picture of my sweet little Sam. He is still very much of a baby still. Last night at dinner he put his plate of food on top of his head like a hat (he turned it upside down of course, so the food side was in his hair) and I said "Hey everyone, look at Sammy!" and we all had a good laugh together. I think he needs to feel the attention like that. I gave EVERYONE a bath last night and it all washed out.

I always have to keep you guys updated on the beautiful woodland creatures that I meet here. This little sweet baby bluejay was fluttering on my porch trying to get in the window by my front door. I went out there and picked him up and he let out a big squak and tried to fly a little bit. I tried to put him up on my roof to protect him from the neighborhood cats, but he wouldn't stay up there. He was learning how to fly. I just went in and let him be. About 10 minutes later I looked out to see him sitting beside his mother. I guess she was teaching him how to be a big boy. So sweet.

I hope you all have a good week! I know I will. I am so happy to have my sweet little Rusty. He is such a beautiful baby. I am enjoying every minute of it. Here's a complimentary pep-talk for all of you: You can do anything you set your mind to do! Nothing is out of your reach when you believe in hard work. Don't be afraid of a little elbow grease, and a lot of prayer. Now go get'um Tiger! LOL!

I'm so busy, but here's a little post for ya
So, here's the story. I went to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, and honestly I didn't feel like it was baby time, but I felt a small spot on the back of my leg that hurt when I flexed, so I thought it might be a clot forming. I just went in to get that checked out and it turned out to be nothing. So anyway, the doctors are leaving the room, and I say " Hey why don't you check me really quick just to see if I've made any progress since last Wednesday at the doctor" , and they said "sure". So it turns out I was already at a 4! So they said they don't let people go home when they are already a 4, but they would give me the option. (Like I'm gonna say no, I just want to go home and suffer it out for another week) I said I would stay and have the baby. And it turns out I was progressing on my own. They didn't need to give me pitosin or anything, by midnight I was complete, and he was born at 12:35am! It was a good labor this time, I had an awesome epidural. I could still feel my feet and feel the baby coming out, which is a priceless experience every time. He was born with 10 fingers and 10 toes, and I'm so glad he was healthy and that he is doing well.
I am back to my normal self. Yesterday I had to take the baby to his first doctor appointment. He is doing great. Then I stopped by Sam's club afterward to pick up a few groceries, and then over to Lowe's to pick up a couple boards I needed for Jared to fix Isaac's bed. I know, I'm crazy. I just love to have an active lifestyle! I kept a blanket over the carseat and never opened up, so the baby didn't get anyone's germs!
I also kicked Jared out this morning and told him to go back to work so I could get back to my routine. It was nice to have him help so much, but now I need to be back behind the wheel, you know what I mean? He did so much while I was at the hospital! He did an awesome job keeping the house clean and the kids out of trouble. I have a good man! I love you sweetie! Thanks for all your hard work.
Well, life is still good, even though I am sleep deprived and stressed out a little more than before, but I'm sure it will all even out, it always does. Have a good day people!

Life is Sooooo Good!
Here's some pictures of our day yesterday. We spent some time outside after the kids came home from school. We got out the slip n slide, which is always a big hit around here. I just sat on the porch and watched all the fun happen. I don't have much energy for anything else at this point.

Here's little Sam...Isn't he growing up so fast? He looks like a little man. He loves wearing that hat. He was going all over the yard yesterday having fun. He even tried out the slip n slide. So cute.

Jr. and Tommy were playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler hooked up spraying on it. They had a blast. Jr. always takes care of his younger siblings. He is a great brother. Isaac also has been helping Mary to get to class each morning, and is so happy to have a little job to do. I have the sweetest kids.

Isaac wanted me to take a picture of him with his last bite of a double cheeseburger, wearing his name tag from summer school. I stopped by McDonald's yesterday after school was out because I was informed of my lunchbox mistakes. I swear my brain is on the blink. It seems that Mary got a lunch with two bags of chips in it, Jr. got two sandwiches in his, and poor Isaac ended up with only a gatorade and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, which he hates (so he only drank the gatorade!). I felt like a total slimeball Mom. That's why I had to book it over to McDonald's for the poor starving kid. I promise, things are gonna get better soon!

I had another doctor's appointment this morning. The doctor said that I'm still at a 2. Well, he actually said I'm between a 2 and a 3, but I think he was just trying to give me hope. But it seems that I'll still be sitting around here at least another week, which is fine with me. I've got all the time in the world.
Susan was at the doctor this morning too, so we met for breakfast at IHOP after. She treated me for my birthday, which isn't til Saturday. What a little Shugie-plum she is. Life is Sooooooooooo Good!

My kids are in summer school!
They have a great summer school program here! It's only 4 weeks long, and the kids get $100 debit card if they don't miss any days! It's at the local elementary schools, so it's just like going to the regular school year, but it's a lot more fun for them. They do fun activities and like twice the outdoor recess time. It's gonna save my bacon! I can actually do a bunch of stuff I haven't had time to do before the baby comes.
It was very sad for me to say goodbye to Mary this morning though. It was her first day of real school. After she went into the classroom, I have to admit I had a few tears. It's the beginning of goodbyes down the road. They grow up way too fast. Mom's have to go through so much in this life! They have their hearts ripped out when the kids grow up and leave. Or maybe they can just breath out a sigh of relief that all the insanity is over! I don't know, probably a mixture of both! haha
Well, gotta get to all my chores...laundry, dishes and trash, oh my!

This is a Shout Out!
Thanks for all your comments on my blog folks...it really gives me a lift. My usual "fix" is to call family/friends when I get lonely in the house all day, but now I can also get a little action online too. haha
Happy Birthday to my long lost brother Dan. His phone was disconnected when I tried to call him, so this is all I can do...HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WHATEVER HAPPENS, I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU. I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY IN THE LIFE YOU HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOURSELF. GOD BLESS!, LIVE AND BE WELL.
Today Jared is helping his mother move into her new apartment at a senior citizens type highrise. She will be much more able to pay the rent now, so this is a huge blessing. Jr. is on a fishing trip with the scouts here this morning. It's his first time, so I hope he catches a big one, I'll blog it if he does. Also pretty cool is the fact that I called and asked Suzy to come over and finish our quilting projects together. I'm running out of time on mine, so it will be nice to get together with her today. I'll have to post pictures of that too! I hope I don't forget.
Everything just swirls around in my head like a big bowl of mush and I find myself remembering last weeks appointments a week too late. It's wierd how your brain goes out the window. I guess the body has much more important things to concentrate on.
By the way, we decided pretty much that this baby will be named Russel. I didn't like the name at first, but then it just clicked for me. He's gonna be "a little bit Rusty" haha....You know we are running out of names. We have to pick out of the bottom of the barrel here with so many siblings and cousins on both sides, all the great names are taken! But I like Russel just fine. It's a traditional type name, which we are all about you know.
I should start my morning chores if I am going to have them done by the time Sue gets here. I hope you all have a great weekend! Love you a whole bunch!

I'M LARGE & IN CHARGE!
Pregnancy anyone? This is what it looks like! I have two more weeks to go. I am not going to go through my laundry list of complaints and health problems, but I'm sure ready for this to be over. Sorry that this picture is so immodest, but I thought you'd like to feel my pain. Just think of it as...ART!
I am trying to survive with my kids all home and no energy. I feel like I'm running out of steam (Don't worry, I'm still doing the dishes every day!)
You'll have to excuse me because I don't have much time. I'll write again later. Happy Trails!

Another week for the Jones'
Hello my friends,
I blog WAY too much, but I just couldn't resist telling you all about my last couple of days. I am at a very miserable stage of pregnancy. I am having contractions (not regular or close together at all) but nonetheless very uncomfortable and almost painful. I should just take some tylenol and get over it, I know. I just keep on thinking "how am I supposed to get through three more weeks of this?" So pray for me to go early. ha ha just kidding. He can bake all the way til he's done and ready to come out. I don't mind. I remember that when they come out, things are way more hecktic for me anyway, so I should just relax. So, enough of my babbling...
Last night was a party sponsored by Jared's work at a park. We had a good time, although WAY too many people asked if we were done having kids yet, and the answer is NO, PEOPLE, WE'RE NOT! OK? ??? THAT OK...WITH YOU???? GOOD! Cause it's OUR LIFE, OK? LOL I know we look like a circus, and that's ok with us. They are our pride and joy.
So, that's where most of the pictures came from on the slide show. The others are of this morning when both Jr. and Isaac found turtles. This was cool. Jr.'s was neat because it has those yellow spots, and Isaac's was smaller and so cute. They had fun with them outside, then they very sneakily brought them into their bedroom to have races on the carpet. There was skid-marks! Then, they went into the back yard to look for more interesting things, and I heard them from the kitchen getting all excited about something, so I look out there, and they are chasing a 3 foot long black snake! They had sticks and were trying to pick it up and put it into a storage tub. They chased it into a big pile of dry sticks/branches. I finally coaxed them back into the house and Jr. was pouting for about 1/2 hour, saying I stopped his fun. He would not listen to me about possible painful snake bites etc. He didn't want to hear it. Boys are so...AARRGGHHH! I'll never understand it. They just need to be boys.
I'm so glad to have this blog to keep in touch with all of you. Hope you have a great weekend. And remember "You were not hired for your brains, you hippopotamic LAND MASS!"

Which one?
I know, this is so vain of me, but I'm bored with blogging lately and I wanted to just do something different. Which picture should I use for my new profile picture? I am SO adorable. haha
I had a doctor appointment today again. I'm at a 2, and it is nice to have a little progress. I'm still hoping against hope to go early. I have been nesting like nothin' you've ever seen. The whole upstairs is exactly how I want it, except I need to pull out my steam cleaner and clean the carpets tomorrow. Hey I should take some pics of my baby area, yeah. I will. Jr. has been enjoying scout camp the last couple of days. He said he saw about 50 baby frogs around a pond today. They had the police dept. there last night doing a bunch of stuff with the kids. Cubscouts is great. What else? I'm just waiting to have this baby! Hope all is well for everyone! Love & Hugs
