I'm so proud to be an American. I love my country. God bless the USA! This truly is a choice land above all others. I'm so glad to be born and raised here in the land of opportunity. Especially because it means that I can teach my children the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We had a very bad weekend! I'm not one to be gloomy, but everything seems like it's gone south this weekend. We tried to barbeque some steaks on Friday, and they were horrible and tough. Then we went to see the fireworks and the kids were really unmanageable and they all got cold, plus they had to go potty when there was no bathroom available! haha Then on Saturday Jared was trying to go get a haircut and they were closed, and then he tried to take Jr. and Isaac to see kung-foo panda and when they got all the way to the theatre Jr. decided he didn't want to go afterall. So Isaac was sorely disappointed. Then we got a babysitter and went out to see a movie last night and it turned out to be full of sick, tawdry filth, and we had to walk out of there after only the first 15 minutes of the show. We actually should have walked out after about 2 minutes, but we just kept waiting for it to get better, and it got worse and worse. Good news is, we got our 16 bucks back and went to baskin robins for a treat with it. Then today I cooked dinner and it was so bad! The rolls (the kids helped way too much when I was putting them together) were like biscuits and the corn cobs were tough and just all around gross stuff. I was so disappointed. When I take the time to make rolls (about 3 hour process) I really look forward to eating them, and they were just gross this time. I AM SO NEGATIVE! Oh well. I know things are gonna look better tomorrow when I can kick Jared out the door to work and get back to my routine. Well, here's some moments of cuteness I observed this weekend. Hope you are all doing better than me today! G'bye!
