Happy Halloween Folks

I took the kids to Jared's work so they could Trick or treat there and then we went around our little culdesac to show off their costumes. There are a lot of older folks who live here and they all love to see my kids, so it was one of those necessary things.
Anyway, Jr.- Ninja, Isaac-Batman, Mary-Bunny, Tommy-Buzz lightyear, and Sam- Tigger. Rusty was a lion, but he was too tired to be one for very long, hence, he isn't in the picture. haha Happy halloween!

Ballet for Tommy (and Mary)

We were late to Tumbling-Tots class on Tuesday night, so Tommy decided to go to Ballet with Mary instead. He had a ball! He seriously had the best time in there, my poor little boy. LOL!

Goodbye Suzy!

My sweet sister Suzy moved away to Pennsylvania today. I have been over at her house helping them pack and clean for the last 3 or 4 days. Today was the day they left, and I had to cry my eyes out this afternoon. Here are some pictures from today just before they left.

The final pictures!

Here is my new beautiful living room (Thanks Lucille!) Lu came in here like she was on a mission! She started painting and then when it was dry she helped me put up all my pictures and organize my furniture! It looks so great! Lucille also helped me put up all my family pics in the dining room. It looks so cute! Look at that gorgeous tile!!! I couldn't have done it without my dear Dad! Also I couldn't stand the red wall I had painted on the lower half of the dining room, so I painted it "cozy beige" and I really love the contrast. It is really cozy indeed! This home is really meant to have natural colors in it because of the woods.

I love my new home! It feels like a model home in here! Love ya'll

My little Rusty-Gord

Time for some more pictures of my little sweetie. I took him for his 3 mo. checkup yesterday, and he is 16 1/2 lbs. He is in the 70th percentile for his head size, the 30th for height and the 90th for weight. haha He's a short little chunker! Sure is a sweet little thing though, if I do say so myself.

My New tile floor

Look at my sweet Daddy's handiwork... it was a job done right! I still can't believe he did all that hard work just for me. I promise I'll never ask you to do anything ever again Dad! haha You can just come and relax!

Isn't it pretty though? It still needs to be finished up a bit., but here it is for you folks! Enjoy.

Here's a BEFORE picture:

Then it started coming together here:
And then it was done! How gorgeous!
And here's the kitchen nook, before I grouted the decorative tile strip:
Now I just gotta mop a few times, and get those baseboards nailed back on. Have a good week people!

We had a fun trip

We went on a church history tour of Western Missouri. It was Me and my younger 3, Dad, and Brandon (who was totally excited to go with us!). We went to the visitor's center in Independence, Jackson County MO, then to see the temple lot across the street, which is not now owned by the church. Then we went to Liberty Jail in Liberty, Clay county MO, and toured through the church owned visitor's center there. That was neat because they built the exhibit with the real floor that was preserved all those years. It was a great testimony strengthening experience for all of us. I know Joseph Smith was a true Prophet of God, and this trip just reaffirmed that for me. I felt the Spirit testify of that. I am so thankful to Joseph Smith and all the early saints, some of which were our own dear ancestors, for all they sacrificed so that we can have a knowledge of the truth, and have the Lord's true church again established on the earth as it was when He came and established it himself.
I will write more later when I am not trying to finish a tile floor! Loves and Hugs to all my friends and family. I love you all.
