Hello Family & Friends...

Hey people! Tonight I took Jr. to cub scouts. He loves every minute of it. He is such a good boy. Our week has been great. I went to the doctor today and heard the baby's heartbeat. Everything is going very good with my pregnancy. I still can't believe I will have 6 kids! It seems too good to be true. Children are a blessing from God, and I am so happy to have so many blessings. They mean everything to me.

In other news, Jared Sr. will be leaving me tomorrow for a business trip to San Francisco to attend what I call "computer geek camp". He'll be gone for 8 days, so wish me luck! I probably won't get a chance to post during that time, but you never know.

We almost have the boys room and bathroom finished. I am so excited to have a change! I will love it when we get all reorganized so I can set up the crib in my room and get everything ready for the new baby. I'm nesting.

Have a fun week everyone! Love you a whole bunch!

Look what I did to my hair today!

Whoa! That hair color was a lot darker than I thought it would be! I got my hair cut on Saturday, and now I have a new color! It was looking way too brassy before. I actually kinda like it. Love ya'll!

I came across this old photo of Jared when he was a baby and I noticed how much Tommy looks like him. What do you guys think?

Hello Friends!
It is plain old boring life around here...wash the dishes, change the diapers, fold the laundry. And for the kids...make messes, play with toys, eat, sleep. How boring can you get? I wish I had something cool to talk about. Here's a cute picture of my cute little "Peetie-sweetie" as he is called around here. I don't know where that name came from, but we love to call him "Pete". I know-we ARE wierd. Is anyone looking at these blogs??? I would love to hear from you! Leave me a comment at the bottom of this post, or email me. Love you all!

I love being a Mommy

Even though I am struggling to keep up with my job, I'm so glad to be a Mom! There are so many moments of pure joy. My sweet little angels always make me feel so happy.
I am trying to clean the house each day, and I always end up having to save some things for the next day! I wish I could just get it 100% done and it would stay that way! I got some very good advice from a friend the other day, she said to put everything away and only keep a select number of toys/books available to the kids. I'm definitely going to try that. Right now, they have access to everything and they get it all out and don't want to put it away.
I went to the cannery on Saturday. I got 8 cases of food. It was more work than I thought, but I'm happy to have gotten it done.
We had Sandy (Jared's Mom) over for dinner on Sunday. We had a good visit and we had family home evening. We also ate homemade scones for dessert, which were yummy!
I hope all of you are doing as well as I am. Love you!

Another week has come and gone...

Hey ya'll! This week was pretty uneventful for us. It started out great when Suzy and I decided to go pig out at IHOP! I ate so much and for so long that I missed my doctor appointment, but it was well worth it. Jr. had scouts on Wednesday and he got burned by a spark that flew out of the popcorn machine, but it was nothing ice couldn't fix. We cleaned the church on Saturday as a family, which was very fun for everyone, then went home and scraped off the cottage cheese style ceilings from our downstairs bedroom and bathroom. We are preparing it for Jr. and Isaac to move down there, since our family is expanding.
Today Jared gave a talk in church about missionary work. I was overjoyed that the kids did not have to be hauled out even once! They were all calm and sat quietly for me, without snacks! It's times like those that help me feel like we are going to make it through this thing alive!
It was my first day teaching the 16-17 yr. olds Sunday school class. I have to tell you, I was initially nervous, but I know all these kids so well already from Young women and the Wednesday night activities that I really had fun teaching them. It was also nice to go back to Relief Society for the first time in years. I was so happy to be there.
I am now 29 weeks! That means only 11-15 weeks left! haha The time is flying by! We still have no ideas for baby names.

Our pup

We got a dog about a month ago, her name is Bo-Bo. She came with that name, and the kids like it. It seems kind of like a boy name to me... oh well, even Sam is able to say it! She is a "raggle", part beagle and part rat terrier. She is very well behaved and sweet. We love having her in our home.
